Our current book is the magical bestseller, and award-winning, The Girl Who Drank the Moon, by Kelly Barnhill.

Previous Book Corner book pages remain available for you to enjoy still. Give them a whirl, they will definitely keep you busy
You can join for free, but you do need to sign up on the Join the Quiet Paws Book Corner page for your password. The pages are password protected.
Each book page has suggestions and links to websites offering you things to do, things to learn and things to think about whilst reading (or rereading) our fabulous, featured books.
November / December’s page for The Girl Who Drank the Moon is no exception.
So, click on the Join the Quiet Paws Book Corner page (it’s in the top menu, next to this one) and join our online community of young readers (and plenty of older ones too!). No matter where you are in the world, we look forward to having you on board!
If you haven’t got the book and cannot buy a paper copy, audiobook or a download of it, don’t panic!

You can find it or request it to be ordered in for you at your local library (search online for your nearest one). You can sometimes even join a library and request books online or by phone.

See if your school has a copy. If not, you could ask your teacher or school librarian to help you get a copy, as other children would also benefit from reading it.

Audible – first listen is free.
If you don’t already have Audible, and you have a willing adult to sign up for you, your first listen is free. I am a huge fan of audiobooks… so is a certain little dog, who listens while he snoozes.
If you are still struggling to access the book of the month, sometimes books have been uploaded onto the internet. This is not a great thing for authors, and it does not have their permission, so I cannot recommend it. However, were I an author, I suspect I would understand that, in certain situations, this might be the only way for a child to access the book.
