Starting early, with high quality MFL lessons, will enable your child to develop their confidence and language skills without even realising what a wonderful life skill they are developing. Online, we can share course material and authentic resources. Children can also access a shared whiteboard and complete practice tasks during or after the lesson.

Resources include specialist courses, such as Early Start, featuring film clips, games, vocabulary practice and insights into life in France, Germany and Britain. 
I also use songs, language websites and authentic resources, such as children’s books, newspapers or DVDs. 
To make the lessons fun and engaging, I use a combination of age-appropriate resources to embed vocabulary and phrases 
The focus is on building confidence speaking another language and on developing transferable language learning skills such as text decoding

I am a highly experienced Primary Languages teacher. Originally, secondary trained, I have taught thousands of hours of French and German, as well as delivering training to other primary school teachers at local and county level.
Working online interactively means that we can screen share resources and a whiteboard in the lesson. Children can also access tasks and links that are later sent to the parent or guardian’s email address.

The focus is on educated, but idiomatic, British and/ or American English. Content can be adapted for younger students, but not the level, as these are authentic resources. I am a reassuring and experienced languages teacher and am well used to putting nervous students at ease.
